- I was scrolling through TV when I found "Crazy Rich Asians." I already read the book and thought it was a hilarious mix of marriage, money, and mores. After I finished the movie, I was amazed! Although there are some cursing, I recommend this movie for 12 years and up.
- They are so rich
- There are so rich
- There is wealthy, rich, and crazy rich. Rachel is an average New Yorker, she has a regular job and a typical boyfriend, or so she thought. Because later she finds out that Nick, her boyfriend is crazy rich! But being the girlfriend of a crazy rich person is definitely not what she expected.
- This is a good movie, and from the title, is full of Asians. So, basically Nick has a girlfriend, Rachel, and he flies to Singapore, where his family is CRAZY RICH and Rachel's almost like an insult to Nick, because her family is really poor. AMAZING MOVIE!! Not for ages under 10! It has cursing, and the um, 3 letter word that's totally inappropriate for kids under! Love it, just a bit for older kids.

- This movie absolutely amazing!! When I sat down to watch this movie I honestly wasn't expecting much at all, but we got half way through it with me not getting my phone but two eyes wide open waiting for what would happen next. It really is one of those movies that you can just sit back and watch but you definetly won't loose interest. And I am a person who cries a little in movies but this one had me absolutely bawling my eyes out, and another bonus is that it was very romantic and I am one romantic movies. Overall it's just a sweet movie that is perfect for sleepovers and any evening really. I give it a 10 out of 10 and recomend it for ages 9+ :-)
- Great review!
- I am completely blown away. Growing up, I have rarely seen Asian representation on the big screen, and this movie broke that barrier. With an all Asian-cast, Crazy Rich Asians is a box office hit, and reached a 91% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes!! The story follows NYU Econ professor Rachel Chu, and her time in Singapore with her boyfriend Nick Young's high-society family. She feels out of place in the world of the upper class and is resented by Nick's mother. Throughout the movie, it is clear that Rachel does not lack intelligence through her confrontation with Nick's mother and those who disapprove of her. Audiences see the meaning of family, love, and betrayal, and the movie ends with the classic, rom-com happy ending. Definitely worth the watch, and I am so happy to finally see people that look like me in Hollywood!!
- Fantastic review!
