  This movie was so good!!! It is exactly the same as the book and it is one of my favourite movies and books series.

  The movie was ok. I mean the animation is pretty good but its nothing like the book. For one thing, people who have read the book know that Percy is sired by Poseidon after the hellhound attack. In the movie, Chiron, and the other campers know already and don't make such a big deal about him being"Big 3" material. I think most people can all agree that between the movie and the book, the book is obviously better. I mean COME ON! Its like making movie based on books into something different that it should be called "the Lightning thief which is Totally different" So peeps who haven't read the book or the movie read the BOOK !! The movie is ...different.

  I love the Percy Jackson series, and Rick Riordan. I've read all the Percy Jackson books, and the Kane Chronicles. I'm currently reading the Heros of Olympus, The Blood of Olympus. But this movie was nothing like the book. At all. If that kind of thing bugs you, I suggest you don't watch this movie.
