After losing her husband to cancer, Jessie’s holiday spirit has never quite been the same. Struggling with grief and resistant to change, she clings to the traditions that once brought her family together. So when her family threatens to cancel their beloved "Chamberlain Family Christmas Olympics," Jessie is determined to keep the tradition alive. In a bold move, she creates a dating app profile, asking for a date willing to join her family’s quirky Christmas competition for their very first meeting. Enter Bryan, a businessman who surprisingly agrees to Jessie’s unconventional proposal. But as the games unfold, nothing goes as planned—except for Jessie and Bryan unexpectedly falling for each other. I absolutely loved this movie! It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The Chamberlain family is hilariously dysfunctional yet irresistibly lovable, bringing plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments. Sentimental, festive, and full of holiday charm, this film is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. Happy watching!12 days agotechfashion0315 added a movie review.

When Jake proposes to his girlfriend Asha, the couple couldn’t be happier—until they remember their families. Asha, raised in an Indian family blending Hindu and Christian traditions, and Jake, the son of divorced Irish parents, face the challenge of planning their wedding while navigating a clash of cultures, values, and beliefs. While Jake and Asha are certain about their love, convincing their families to embrace their union proves to be an uphill battle. This movie is festive, heartfelt, and absolutely hilarious. Centering on two families coming together through marriage, it offers a refreshingly realistic and entertaining take on the joys and challenges of blending traditions. Asha’s father and Jake’s interactions are especially memorable, as is Jake’s quirky and eccentric mother, who adds plenty of humor. Beyond the laughs, the film is deeply heartwarming and relatable, making it a must-watch for everyone. Happy watching!12 days agotechfashion0315 added a movie review.

Leo is no ordinary class pet. Ordinary class pets don’t talk, and they certainly don’t ponder when they are going to die. But Leo, a 74-year-old lizard who has spent his entire life in a classroom, does both. Content with his quiet existence in his glass terrarium—shared with Squirtle, the class turtle—Leo’s world is turned upside down when he learns he has only one year left to live. Feeling that his life has been unremarkable, he hatches a daring plan to escape and experience life beyond the classroom. However, his grand plans are thwarted when the teacher assigns her students the task of taking the class pets home. To everyone’s surprise, this ordinary-sounding assignment becomes extraordinary when the kids discover Leo can talk. As Leo spends time with the students, he uses his “wisdom” to help them navigate their struggles—whether it’s a spoiled rich girl or an overly talkative extrovert, Leo’s guidance helps the kids grow in unexpected ways. This movie is packed with humor, catchy songs, and a surprising amount of heart. Beneath its comedic surface, it delivers meaningful life lessons that will resonate with audiences of all ages. That said, it’s worth noting the film includes several innuendos, which made for some slightly awkward moments when I watched it with one of my guy friends. Despite this, the movie is a delightful, feel-good story that’s sure to please the whole family. Happy watching!12 days agotechfashion0315 added a movie review.
