I love Ever After High series and all of the books Shanon Hale writes! I have been anxiously waiting for her to write another book in the Ever After High series. This one seems like another great addition to the series, and I can't wait to read it!

Wonder is the truly wonderful story about being different, love, and finding the inner wonder in others and ourselves. Wonder is about 5th grade Auggie Pullman. He's perfectly normal kid besides the fact that he was born with a deformed face. All he wants is for people to see his true self instead of his face. After being homeschooled all his life his parents decide to send him to a public school. Auggie is an outcast 'till he meet two great friends, Summer and Jack Will. Along the way Auggie learns about true friendship, what it means to be brave, inner beauty, real kindness, and a lot about life. Wonder will have you crying tears of joy on one page and laughing the next. Wonder is an inspirational story about real life that truly captures the point of view of being a student in middle school.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down is another hilarious and relatable middle school story from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Greg's mother is determined to keep his brain from turning to "mush" by "unplugging" him from his video games and getting him into his creative side. Relunctant to put down his video games, he attempts to impress his mom to gain more gamig time, he begins to try new things that turn into hilarious events. Joining the school band to get an invitation to a Halloween party turns into getting locked in a room, trying to win an early haul of Halloween candy causes Greg to meet strange Lego obsessed boy who lives in the middle of no where, and in an attempt to become rich and famous by making a horror movie causes a flock of crazed geese to chase his best friend, Rowley up a tree. Plus many more crazy adventures. Double Down will become a new favorite to any Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans!

The Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel (The Descendants) The Isle of the Lost is the amazing prequel to the Descendant movie about life on the Isle of the Lost, the dark, filthy island that is covered by a magical dome that rids villains of their powers that king Beast banished all the most famous villains from the classic stories we all love. Such as Maleficent, the dark fairy who cursed a young girl to sleep for a-hundred years, Cruella De Ville, the madwoman who wanted to turn innocent dalmatian puppies into spotted fur coats, Evil Queen, the witch with her poisoned apples, and Jafar, the royal advisor who tried to take over a kingdom. These villains all had children who were born and raised on the Isle of the Lost. Now teenagers these children are Carlos, the intelligent son of Cruella De Ville, Evie, the fashionable daughter of Evil Queen, Jafar's son, Jay, the talented thief, and Mal, daughter of Maleficent who's only wish is to be just as evil as her mother. During a magical mishap Carlos and Evie accidentally brake a hole into the dome; causing the Dragon Eye, Maleficent's magical scepter to gains power. The four go on a quest to find it in an attempt to impress their parents. During the dangerous journey they face tests, magic, become friends, learn that the rotten apple does fall far from the tree and that good always overcomes evil. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the Descendants movies and enjoys a good book about the misfits rising up.

Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book is an amazing back story behind the tale as old as time we all know and love. The book begins with the sisters Love and Death. The extremely competitive sisters make a bet to decide what is more powerful; love or hatred. Along the way, book-loving Belle discovers a mysterious book in Beast's library called Nevermore. A magical book that transports the owner to their dream world. In this amazing adventure Belle finds friends, meets enemies, and learns that you are the author of your own story during all the twists and turns. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the Beauty and the Beast story and understands the feeling of getting lost in a book.
