Yes, that is a problem, but what if the people can't afford a $400-$1000 machine, or say they are out and about? They don't make portable 3d printers, plus if you didn't know 3d printers run off of filament to create the cool products you want. logically, the fast food industry won't go out of business unless everyone has the same amount of money and everyone has a 3d printer at home, as well as people not going anywhere.

People are also working on stopping pollution and finding other ways to fuel things instead of fossil fuels, this really isn't a problem and honestly, the world is not going to blow up because a university wants to make 3d food
