There is a good and a bad side to this situation. the good side is that the Artic's land will have more room for people to settle into to avoid overcrowding in other countries. The bad side is that if we do settle in the Artic we will make it harder for the Artic animals to survive because of 1. us using their habitat making so they will need to find new homes 2. due to Global Warming ( which made this situation possible) is melting the ice which is also making it harder for them to live 3. most of the animals are already close to extinction, which this situation isn't helping at all. I think that we shouldn't settle in the Artic because I don't think we should live in any other animal's habitat. I personally feel bad for the artic animals because unless they adapt to Gobal Warming ( which could take many generations) they will most likely go extinct!
