I finish the first five books, about the five dragonets of prophecy ending a mighty war. After Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny help bring back peace, they decide to build a school at Jade Mountain, welcoming all tribes, so different dragons can have a chance to work and respect others. The book first starts off with a description of the new school and the "winglets." The winglets are groups of dragons attending the school. The winglets are Jade Winglet, Gold Winglet, Silver Winglet, Copper Winglet, and Quartz Winglet. Each winglet has seven dragonets in it, one from each tribe. The main character is a Nightwing called Moonwatcher. From the war, dragons now know Nightwings can't really read minds or see the future. However, Moonwatcher turns out to have those long-lost power. She thinks her ability is a curse, and fears that her winglets will find out her secret. But when someone starts attacking the dragons within the academy, Moon watcher has a choice to make: Stay hidden and be safe? Or risk everything to save her winglets and defeat the enemy? This book is such a great continuation of the dragon world. We meet a new group of dragons that we'll be following for the next few books. I really enjoyed my reading experience in this book, and love how this story is progressing. I am very excited to read the seventh book.

Dora recommended this book to me, I was drawn into this book the second I began to read. The story starts like this: Alice's father believed there are monsters out there. He refused to let her and little sister, Emma, to go outside after sun sets. To makes things crazier, he even built walls around their house, and taught them how to fight monsters. Alice and Emma always think his dad is insane. Until one day, they somehow convinced their dad to drive them out at night. On their way home, suddenly, Dad panicked and the car crashed out of control. The next second, Alice found herself alone in a broken car, with her family, dead. She then saw Dad being dragged out by... monsters. Instantly, she realized that monsters were real! To avenge her family, Alice must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys in her school, Cole Holland... This story keeps readers excited. I love how the author developed each character. ( especially the action between Alice and Cole ) Moreover, I think is it interesting that the author uses the story from Alice in the Wonderland, but changed it into a completely new adventure!

(I really enjoyed the first book, so I bought the second and third in America this summer) "Zombies stalk the night. Forget blood and brains. These monsters hunger for human souls. Sadly, they've got mine..." This is such a good hook! Alice Bell has lost her family friends, and... a home. She already had nothing to give, but darkness came back to her. After a new zombie attack, strange things begin to happen to her. She saw a copy of herself in the mirror, craving for blood and her soul --- there is a real zombie, living in her body. Mirror comes to life, whispers of the dead assault her ears. What's worse, Zombie Alice is urging her to do very wicked things. On the other hand, Cole Holland, the leader of the slayers and her boyfriend, suddenly withdraws from her...from everyone. Alice is now alone... even herself cannot be trusted ... I love this book in every moment, and it was an absolutely brilliant second book for this series! The characters are fantastic and I'm now certainly a big fan of Cole Holland. I felt like I was pretty much a zombie while reading this book. Whenever I finish a chapter, I was craving for more... and more. I might have snapped and tried to bite whoever dares to take away my book. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys zombie novels, mystery books, romance, or anything involving the spirit realm. This book, as well as the first, were both absolutely perfect!

michellek21's book review was featured in The Queen of Zombie Hearts (White Rabbit Chronicles).
After finishing the second book, I immediately start the third. In this book, Anima Industries, the agency controlling the zombies, launches a sneak attack, killing four of Alice's friends. As the surviving slayers prepare for war, Ali discovers she, too, can control the zombies... and she isn't the girl she thought she was. She also found out that she was connected to the woman responsible for killing her boyfriend's mother. As secrets come to light, and more slayers are taken or killed, Ali will fight harder than ever to bring down Anima — even sacrificing her own life for those she loves. This is an epic conclusion to one of the best young adult series I've ever read. There are so much emotions, twists, turns, heartbreaking, pain, agony, courage, love... I was trying to fight back tears when Alice sacrificed herself for her friends and families... The author truly delivered a fantastic and compelling story!

sandyc's book review was featured in The Dolphin in the Mirror: Exploring Dolphin Minds and Saving Dolphin Lives.
I researched about the background of this book, and expectedly, the author herself is a dolphin rescuer. Furthermore, she understands the dolphin very much. In this book, she talks about the activism of saving dolphins and also shows the readers how smart the dolphins are and how they are even smarter than us. She also talks about why we should stop mistreating them. The most amazing thing is that they can even communicate with humans! The author describes them as the smartest creature except human on earth. Due to I wrote an essay about the mistreatment of dolphins, I began researching about books of dolphins. This was the second book that I found, but it was more interesting than the first book. I think that the author is completely correct. I like how this book uses a funny way to discuss the issue. It makes people feel joyful but also makes people take action on saving the animals. Go on and read this book! Enjoy the conversion between you and the dolphin ~ 🐬
